Passopisciaro Wine and Historical Tour
Developing at the Northern foothills of Mount Etna, along the stunning area known as Passopisciaro, about 1 hour from Taormina and Catania, this itinerary involves 2 different wineries that together combine tradition and innovation. While Sicilian Girolamo Russo winery grows 15 hectares of vineyards surrounded by a century old olive and hazelnut groves, Tenuta di Fessina was founded by the Tuscan entrepreneur Silvia Maestrelli, who fell in love with this land. Benefiting from her family enologic expertise, along with the winery she developed a rich and wonderful hospitality program.
Lunch includes delicious Sicilian specialties properly paired with wine.>
The program:
9:00 Departure from Taormina or Catania by private car or van and English speaking driver
10:00 Arrival at Girolamo Russo. Guided tour and wine tasting
12:30 Arrival at Tenuta di Fessina. Visit with wine tasting and lunch
15:00 Visit to Randazzo historical center
17:00 You are back to Catania or Taormina
