The Ancient Shops of Florence
A guided walking/shopping tour. This walking tour will sheds light on Florence's historical stores.
The mid-1800s was a period when Florence was the capital of Italy, and the city saw the birth of elegant cafés, markets, fashion boutiques, and beauty stores which are still in business today.

The program
- 10:00 am - Meeting point in front of the Caffè Giubbe Rosse, an historical café located in Piazza Repubblica or at your hotel in Florence. The guide offers you a coffee in this elegant antique setting, before to start the program.
- 10:30 am - Walking towards the Vinaio (literally "wine vendor") Migliorini, one of the oldest "vinai," offering a large selection of wines and at least two hot dishes a day
- 11.00 am – Visit the main food market place near San Lorenzo Church.
- 12:00 pm – Stroll to Sbigoli ceramic workshop and visit.
- 1:00 pm - Tuscan lunch with wine at Restaurant Gastone.
- 2:30 pm - Walking towards the Santa Maria Novella pharmacy, brief visit of this antique place, which has carefully preserved its interior architectural style.
- 4:15 pm - Return back to Caffè Giubbe Rosse, or to your hotel, and end of the program.
