    Wine and Sailing round Elba

The best wines and restaurants on the island

Sailing around and visiting new places each day, what could be better than being silentlypressed on by a favourable wind, for a relaxing but dynamic, adventurous and unforgettable holiday to which we’ve added the chance to taste the best Tuscan wines and discover the top restaurants on the island.

The boat and the skipper –
The boat is a Catamaran Lagoon 410 with double cabins, 2 in the prow and 2 in the stern, 4 bathrooms and a spacious indoor lounge. See the technical specifications sheet. The skipper is a professional and a member of the Oversea Association. On board there’ll be our Tuscan wine and cuisine expert who will prepare the breakfasts and suppers on board and hold the guided wine-tastings.

The island -
Elba has always been considered a favourite destination by those who wish to spend a holiday surrounded by nature, clean beaches and crystal clear sea. The atmosphere of the towns inland and the villages along the coast is the same as in any other Tuscan town with a large central square, church and town hall facing each other, as two such powers ought to, grocery shops and bars frequented by the locals. The natural surroundings however, add something special, low vegetation and the Mediterranean bush typical of the islands, alternating with vineyards and olive groves. In the middle of this natural contest, you will find one of the most interesting and traditional Tuscan cookery and some of the best Tuscan wine makers.
